Is GPU better to use for Singular than usual desktop?

I wonder if there is any benefit of using GPU for doing calculations in Singular over the usual desktop. Does anyone know? Also, if I use 2 GPUs, is it better than 1 GPU?

Currently Singular does not use a GPU.
